Summer Conference Meal Plans & Declining Balance

Dickinson College's Dining Hall and several retail dining locations are available during the summer months to on-campus conferences. Meals in the Dining Hall are traditionally a part of conference fees paid prior to attendance. Additional payments to Dining Services are not needed to cover these meals.

For the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and John Hopkins Center for Talented Youth conferences, Dining Services accepts Declining Balance deposits for usage as funds to be spent on campus. Students can use Declining Balance at Union Station, Dining Hall, Bookstore, Devil's Den and the campus mail center.

Parents/guardians of attendees can fill out our summer conference brochure for Declining Balance and mail the completed form to Dining Services prior to the arrival of their child. Please submit cash or check when using this method. Sorry, credit card numbers cannot be accepted on the brochure. 
NOTE: Deposits are NOT accepted until June 1st.

Parents/guardians can add Declining Balance on the day of registration on campus using cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted).

At the end of the conference, students can collect unspent funds during their final week at Dickinson. Uncollected funds over $25 will be mailed home to the address provided at the time of opening the account.

Please note: Funds under $25 that are not collected prior to departure from campus will be forfeited. The college is unable to issue checks for amounts under $25.
