Margaret is an Environmental Science major from Brookline, Massachusetts. During her time at Dickinson, Margaret has proudly served as the Eco-Reps Coordinator student intern at the Center for Sustainability Education, as a GIS Intern for the Geographic Information Systems Lab, and the Vice President of Membership for Pi Beta Phi. Margaret spent a semester in Tanzania to study wildlife management. While there, she conducted research on the effectives of terrace farming as a technique to mitigate impacts of climate change in the region.

Margaret has traveled across Massachusetts to explore environmental career paths in her area. She has worked for Mass Audubon as a Wildlife Intern where she monitored the populations and habitats of various threatened and endangered coastal bird species. Last summer, the majority of her time was spent at Lovin’ Spoonfuls, New England’s Largest non-profit food rescue organization, as an Operations and Communications Intern. She also worked for Boyer Sudduth Environmental Consultants, LLC as a sustainability Intern. Margaret is passionate about looking at systems where humans and the environment interact and making those systems healthier and more efficient. Margaret looks forward to collaborating with and learning from the Baird Fellow Community to explore these areas of interest and those of her peers.
