BAIRD E-PORTFOLIO

Yuanxiaoyue (Artemis) Yang is an economics and mathematics double major. She has a strong passion in environmental economic research, especially topics about air pollution issues. Now she is conducting a one-year research project on Pennsylvania’s air pollution policy as her senior honor thesis in economics. She has a long-term career goal of pursuing a PhD in environmental and natural resource economics.

She has been working as a sustainability data analyst intern for the Center for Sustainability and Education (CSE) since her junior year. At CSE, she utilized her expertise in data management and analysis and worked on various projects such as calculating Dickinson's water footprint and greenhouse gas emissions inventory. In the past summer, she participated in the Summer Institute on Sustainability and Energy (SISE) program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. This is a two-week summer workshop that addresses current topics in energy, water and sustainability. She is very excited to work with other sustainability-minded senior students in an interdisciplinary environment through 2017 Baird Sustainability Fellow Program.
