Danielle Burley is majoring in philosophy with a focus on environmental ethics and sustainability. She has spent the past three summers developing skills in exotic animal care, environmental education, gardening, grant writing, event planning and outreach through various non-profit organizations including the Great Valley Nature Center, The Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County, and La Comunidad Hispana. Through Dickinson she has enjoyed an interdisciplinary approach to understanding sustainability in various departments, languages, and cultures. Her junior year was spent studying sustainable development through the School for Field Studies in Costa Rica and philosophy through the CIEE program in India.
