What is it?

The FYSH Program has been designed by the Wellness Center to help ease your transition into college life.  As you adjust to living away from home, you will also be making many decisions about your health and wellness for the first time. The Dickinson College Wellness Center is here to help make sure you are on the right path to success.  

If you'd like to join the FYSH Program as an incoming first year student please complete the form below and select a date/time for the information session facilitated by our Executive Director Lauren Strunk and Nurse Practitioner Ashley Lebo below. Together you will work on prevention-based care while addressing any acute or chronic illnesses (if applicable), while incorporating your values, culture, and preferences.

The program will:

  • Connect you to resources available at the Wellness Center.
  • Discuss ways to improve your health and wellbeing.
  • Discuss typical first year experiences, transitions, and challenges and help you prepare for them.
