Campus Cable TV Programming
Campus Cable TV Guidelines
Cable TV programming is available in all buildings at Dickinson College. The Infrastructure Systems and Information Security department within LIS has sole responsibility for distributing the programming to the campus and for any and all additions, deletions, changes and maintenance to the existing campus service and cable plant.
The campus cable TV system provides local broadcast networks and foreign language channels to all active cable TV jacks on the cable plant. An extended programming line-up is provided at the Kline Fitness Center. A complete list of channels and system recommendations and guidelines can be found at the following link on the LIS web site:
Any alteration to the existing cable TV system or cable plant is strictly prohibited. Due to system balancing requirements, no extended cable drops, cable splitters or programming/converter boxes may be added to the cabling infrastructure that have not been approved by LIS. Unauthorized alterations to the cable system will be removed.
The installation of any cable TV services using an external business or residential service provider is prohibited without the consent and coordination of the Infrastructure Systems and Information Security department.
Any questions about campus cable TV services should be directed to Infrastructure Systems and Information Security via the LIS Helpdesk.
