Dickinson’s historic campus may be rooted in the past, but it’s also wired into the future.
From geographic information systems (GIS) to the high-speed network that enables discussions to continue long after class, the college provides faculty, students and staff with the technology resources they need to excel.
Whether Skyping with students on the other side of the world or building an augmented-reality Civil War walking tour, Dickinson faculty regularly enhance their teaching with the latest state-of-the-art tools.
Students can connect their personal computers to Dickinson's ResNet for a fast connection to e-mail, the internet and the on-campus network. Students also can take advantage of the campus’ many public-area computer facilities, all with the same fast network access. Dickinson supports both Macintosh and Windows platforms.
