Christian found great interest and enjoyed working with his fellow classmates in the Baird Honors Fellowship through the highly interactive work environment and overall subject matter of the course. He enjoyed researching the overall infrastructure of Cumberland County and Carlisle and how it is at risk to climate change.

On campus, Christian served as President of the Outing Club for two years helping provide opportunities for students to get outside in nature. He is also an Eco-Rep with the Center for Sustainability Education.

Christian spent the spring of his junior year studying at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand and hopes to return for graduate school. He enjoyed the variety of interesting courses offered as well as the natural landscape of New Zealand and the incredible opportunities it provided for outdoor recreation.

After Dickinson, Christian hopes to pursue a Master's degree in Environmental Management and enter the workforce as an environmental consultant or field ecologist. Christian is extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in the Baird Honors Fellowship.
