Hello! As an Admissions Associate and 2023 graduate, I am so happy that you are interested in Dickinson!
Originally from Olney, Md., I heard about Dickinson during my junior year of high school when I received a recruitment letter in the mail. I started to look at small liberal-arts colleges that would not only challenge me academically, but socially and athletically. As I got to know Dickinson and started to build connections, I knew Dickinson was the place for me after I toured campus just days before my senior year and felt so at home.
While pursuing a biology major at Dickinson, I was a part of the swim team all four years, serving as captain my final year. I became a member of Delta Nu sorority and served as treasurer, and I participated in two semesters of student-faculty research with one of my favorite professors. After spending my first year post-grad in Philadelphia working in the environmental field, I found myself missing being in the academic environment of Dickinson and the community of Carlisle. My love for Dickinson and the experiences I had is what has led me back here.
In my free time you can find me biking and jogging around Carlisle, trying new restaurants, cooking and swimming at the Dickinson pool.
I look forward to hearing about your experiences, interests and why Dickinson excites you!
All the best,
Caroline Christianson
