About Me
I’m from Boulder, Colorado, and I have a bachelor’s in psychology with a minor in Spanish. While I originate from the western part of the United States, and love it will all my heart, I can confidently say that Carlisle is my second home. As a Dickinson alumna, I can speak highly of so many aspects of the college, but what drew me to the school was the sense of community that radiates throughout campus, the town of Carlisle and the variety of academic programs. As someone who loves to learn, the liberal-arts education allowed me to expand my academic interests outside of my major and take in all the wonderful courses Dickinson has to offer!
The Dickinson admissions staff played a huge part in my college decision. I aim to provide you with the same support that I experienced as you go through the college process! No question is too big or too small.
Fun facts:
- Favorite place on campus: Morgan Field! On nice, warm days you will see students there playing Frisbee and spike ball, listening to music and doing homework. I could be there for hours (I actually HAVE been there for hours)!
- I have taken a class in every academic building on campus! I love learning and Dickinson offers a vast array of courses to choose from.
- Favorite tradition at Dickinson: Our Convocation ceremony, where first-year students walk up the stone steps of Old West and through the white doors to sign their names into the college. You won’t go through those doors again until Commencement, when you walk out of Old West to receive your college diploma from the president! It is a full-circle moment!
