Interviewing is like having a chat to uncover your story. It’s not just about what’s on paper; it’s about delving into your adventures, dreams and ambitions for your college journey.
Interviewing is a great way for us to get to know you better and to help us gain insight into your personal experiences, passions and goals. Your interview at Dickinson is also an excellent opportunity for you to explore the college, get vital questions answered and enhance your application.

Interview Tips
WHAT IS AN INTERVIEW LIKE AND SHOULD I HAVE ONE?
Interviewing (offered both in-person and virtually) is a great opportunity to tell us more about you, your interests, and your fit with this school. Interviews can help us assess personal experiences, motivation, maturity and your potential fit with Dickinson.
Before you schedule an interview, please note: Participating in an interview is not required for admission. Notes taken by members of our staff during an interview will be added to your admission file.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR AN INTERVIEW?
Participating in other virtual or in-person visit activities prior to an interview is one of the easiest and best ways to prepare. Our website is another useful tool in preparing for your visit. You may also want to prepare thoughtful questions you can ask during your visit.
