Jessica Libowitz is a Sociology and Women & Gender Studies Double Major and an Anthropology Minor. Jessica has spent her time at Dickinson working with local violence prevention organizations like the YWCA and Yes Please, studying abroad in England, and studying social justice within the intersections of race, gender, sexual orientation, and health. She is most interested in the ways these intersections stratify inner city neighborhoods and affect students- particularly children with autism. Jessica now enters her senior year ready to complete her degree and to create social change at Dickinson and in the greater Carlisle community. She is grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow with the wonderful students of this colloquium and looks forward to a semester of collaboration.
