Highlights from the Reunion

Our 40th reunion was memorable! Thank you to everyone who came to campus to celebrate with us—we welcomed nearly 75 classmates in total. It was so much fun catching up, reminiscing, and celebrating. We are thrilled to share some of the highlights of the weekend. 
 
A little rain in the forecast didn’t hold us back. We kicked off the weekend on Friday evening with the Alumni Award Ceremony, the Welcome Back Reception and the Celebration Dinner on Morgan Field. We closed out the night with live music and dessert.  

On Saturday afternoon, we gathered for a casual class event out on Morgan Field, enjoying the Food Truck Festival and chatting over drinks. Our class dinner on Saturday evening turned out to be a great occasion to continue conversations, with a welcome address by committee member Linda Conrad and remarks from special guest Neil Weissman, the college’s former Provost and professor of educational studies. We enjoyed a visit from President Jones, and of course we also got a class photo!

Another cause for celebration has been our joint efforts in a very successful class gift. Collectively, 29.9% of our class has raised nearly $80,000 for Dickinson. THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed! It’s not too late to participate if you haven’t done so, but please make your gift before June 30 so that it counts towards our reunion year.

Thank you again to everyone that joined us on campus to celebrate our 40th. We can hardly put into words how special it was to see and catch up with so many old and new friends. Cheers to 40 years and more to come!
