Learning & Action on Climate Change and Justice
Join Dickinson students, staff, and faculty and Carlisle community members on March 30, 2022 for a day of learning and action on climate change, climate justice, and equity. Multiple fun, interactive, content rich, and action oriented sessions are planned throughout the day. Put it on your calendar, come, bring your friends, and attend one session, multiple sessions or all sessions to learn how you can participate in imagining and shaping a future that is low carbon, climate resilient, and equitable.
All are welcome. Teach-in sessions will be held in Bosler Memorial Library (158 W High Street) and the Stern Great Room (208 W Louther Street), Holland Union Building Social Hall (28 N College Street), and Pollinator Garden (next to Public Safety, 400 W North Street) on Dickinson’s campus in Carlisle, PA.
The Dickinson & Carlisle Climate Justice Teach-In is sponsored by Dickinson’s Center for Sustainability Education and the Bosler Memorial Library. It is an event of the WORLDWIDE Teach-In on climate solutions and justice that will mobilize 1000 communities around the world in learning and action for climate justice on March 30, 2022. All participants and presenters are required to be up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations, or have a recent negative test result, and must wear masks for all indoor sessions. For sessions at the Bosler Memorial Library this only applies inside the downstairs meeting rooms and for the Climate Justice Teach-in.
