Dickinson’s 2025 Homecoming & Family Weekend (Nov. 7-9) was a dynamic mix of celebrations, traditions and opportunities to reconnect with the college.
The Red Devil football team earned a 47-22 win over the Ursinus College Bears during a triumphant Homecoming game. The weekend also saw the men's soccer team post a 3-0 win over Muhlenberg College and become Centennial Conference champions, and now they look ahead to hosting the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament. The women's soccer team wrapped up a stellar 13-5-3 season, and the field hockey team fell short of the CC title by just one game but secured a spot in the NCAA tournament. Women’s volleyball and men’s swimming were also victorious.
Significant milestones deepened the joy. There was a ground blessing ceremony at the future site of the Jim Thorpe Center for the Futures of Native Peoples and the Samuel G. Rose ’58 Art Gallery and a 20th-anniversary open house for Dickinson's House Divided Project. Dickinson also observed National First-Generation Student Day with a networking reception and alumni stories of courage and resilience. The class of 1967 dedicated a framed Honor Roll in memory of classmates who served during the Vietnam War.
