ABOUT
The Dickinson-in-Spain held its first summer immersion program in 1984 and its first fall/full-year program academic year 1985-1986. The program now has more than 1100 alumni.
The academic home for Dickinson in Spain is the Centro Internacional de Español in the lively neighborhood of El Palo in Málaga, where many host families reside.
40TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DICKINSON-IN-SPAIN PROGRAM IN MÁLAGA
The 2025-26 academic year will mark the 40th anniversary of the fall/full-year program. To celebrate the program’s legacy and continuing impact, Dickinson will hold events for alumni and friends in Málaga and on campus. We are commemorating the creation of the program with the launch of a website that will feature the history of the program and fantastic images from our archive. Details coming soon.
MÁLAGA CELEBRATION
Our capstone celebration will take place in Málaga on April 24, 2026. More details coming soon!

Save the Date! June 12–14, 2026
Alumni Weekend 2026 will include a celebration of global education at Dickinson. All Dickinson alumni who have studied abroad will have the opportunity to celebrate their experiences and Dickinson’s proud tradition of global engagement.
