SITE - PAID Internship for Dickinson Graduates in Lombardy, Italy

This is the logo for the SITE internship program in Lombardy, Italy.

The SITE (Study, Intercultural Training and Experience) Program offers Dickinson students an exciting opportunity to put their Italian Studies experience to work after graduation. Through this paid internship, qualifying students and recent graduates serve as English-language teaching assistants in schools throughout Lombardy, Italy, gaining valuable professional experience while living and working in an Italian community. Participants strengthen their Italian language skills, develop intercultural and professional competencies, and experience everyday life in Italy from a perspective very different from that of a traditional study-abroad program.

Dickinson has a strong history with SITE, and past Dickinson participants have been highly successful and enthusiastic about their experiences. Students interested in applying are encouraged to begin exploring the program before graduation and to speak with Italian Studies faculty about preparing a competitive application. Eligibility requirements, deadlines, compensation, and placement details may change, so applicants should consult the SITE program for current information. Dickinson's past interns have been very successful and speak very highly about this program.
