Graduate School Agreements in International Education

Johns Hopkins University (JHU) Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS)

5-Year BA/MA Program

The program is open to international studies, political science, international business & management and economics majors with a minimum GPA of 3.70 at the time of application (junior year). Students must have completed courses in Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics and International Relations Theory with minimum grade of A- in each. Students must complete at least 24 course credits, including all graduation and major requirements, in three years; attend SAIS in Europe in the fourth year; and attend SAIS in Washington, D.C., during the fifth (and final) year. Students graduate with a bachelor's and a master's degree.

The Network of Autonomous Schools of the Lombardy Region (Italy)

The network offers a program of study, training and intercultural experience in the secondary schools of the Lombard provinces. The program (referred to as SITE), varies from three to eight months and is open to students or recent graduates. Three spaces are reserved each year for Dickinson participants who meet the requirements. Each participant receives a monthly scholarship. Please contact the Dickinson advisor for more information.

University of Bremen (Germany)

Dickinson graduates who have earned at least a 3.0 GPA and are recommended by Dickinson’s application committee receive priority consideration for admission to specific graduate programs. For more information, please contact the Dickinson advisor.

University of East Anglia (Norwich, England)

Dickinson graduates who have earned at least a 3.0 GPA and are recommended by Dickinson's application committee will be provided preferential admission to any master's degree program at the University of East Anglia. For more information, please contact the Dickinson advisor.

University of Maine

Dickinson students who have earned at least a 3.50 GPA can apply as early as their second semester junior year for conditional admission following graduation. The application fee for recommended students can be waived. Once admitted, students can apply approved Dickinson coursework taken during the senior year toward the master of arts in global policy, allowing completion of the master’s degree within 15 months of graduation from Dickinson. Please contact the Dickinson advisor for more information.

University of Málaga (Spain)

Preferential admission to a master’s program (in the arts & humanities or social sciences) at the University of Málaga will be available for up to three Dickinson seniors selected by a Dickinson faculty committee. Successful applicants will be able to attend the master’s program at the EU student rate. For more information, please contact the Dickinson advisor.

University of Queensland (Australia)

Dickinson students who meet the criteria for admission and who are recommended by the college liaison will receive a waiver of the application fee. For more information, please contact the Dickinson advisor.
