Civic engagement, community and social justice are at the heart of transitioning to a more sustainable society, and are deeply embedded in the Dickinson experience. Dickinson engages in community building on campus, locally, across the state of Pennsylvania, nationally and internationally to promote social justice and other dimensions of sustainability. Through a broad range of opportunities, Dickinson encourages students to explore how they connect to a place and how they can make a difference in their communities in informed, thoughtful, and reciprocal ways.
