A Dickinson education prepares students to be leaders. It teaches them to communicate effectively. It provides them an ability to make connections and form relationships and exposes them to a variety of subjects and disciplines. These skills are then translated into jobs, scholarships and graduate-school programs that lead our graduates on to achieve greatness.
95% are employed, in grad school, completing an internship or pursuing meaningful service within one year, and 92% of medical school and 96% of law school applicants were admitted.
An internship is guaranteed for every student who wants one, and fieldwork and research happen in every major. Our students get published, present at conferences, contribute to resource libraries and use lab equipment usually reserved for graduate students.
About 60% of our students study abroad—including science majors and athletes—and if you study on a Dickinson program, all your financial aid goes with you, and your credits transfer back. Seamless.
And all of these experiences happen in a community that is deeply invested in your student’s growth and success. Professors, advisors and coaches care about their students, and the entire Dickinson supports one another in a wonderfully collaborative environment.
