Let’s educate each other and mobilize for action to advance the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day and Dickinson reaching carbon neutrality, we are organizing a day of teach-in sessions for members of the Dickinson and Carlisle communities to educate each other about and promote action on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Proposals are invited for sessions to be led by students, faculty, staff and Carlisle community members and on diverse topics and from diverse perspectives.

Attend a workshop for help developing your ideas for a session; submit a session proposal; lead, speak in or help facilitate a session; put Earth Day April 22nd on your calendar and plan to attend one or more sessions.

Deadline to submit a proposal is February 28, 2020. Details below.

Help Dickinson and Carlisle celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day and reaching carbon-neutrality by organizing a 50-minute teach-in session to raise understanding and promote action on one or more of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Proposals for sessions are invited from faculty, students, staff and community members. The selected sessions will take place on Dickinsonn's campus throughout the day on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. Locations are TBD.

Share your knowledge, skills, passions and ideas for educating and mobilizing for action on these and other important issues by proposing and leading a teach-in session. Interactive, creative and inclusive learning formats are encouraged. We seek to have sessions on a diversity of issues from a diversity of perspectives and identities.
