How has Dickinson prepared you for life after graduation?

I have learned a lot about myself. Studying abroad also gave me a different perspective, and now I am moving to the country where I studied abroad. I have loved to be a part of this community and I look forward to giving back!

What are you most anticipating about your career or postgraduate pursuits?

I definitely expect it to be tough initially. I am moving quite far away from most of my friends and family, but I think that Dickinson has taught me how to be independent. And I know everything I have done until now has prepared me for this.

What are some of the defining moments of your Dickinson experience?

Probably running on the track & field and cross country teams. It has been such a rewarding experience to be part of a team on campus, and I have loved every minute despite all the ups and downs.

I hope to work in the entertainment industry to make my hobby become my career.

  • Professor Steve Riccio invited me to do a presentation about responsibility at the 2nd Annual Dickinson College Ethics Symposium.
  • Joining D-tones, a co-ed a cappella group on campus, to sing with those lovely singers.

I completed two marketing related internship in Beijing, China. One was at Beijing Zone League Culture Communication Co. Ltd., and the other was at Bluefocus Communication Group. At Zone League, I was responsible for increasing brand awareness of our two clients. I wrote two legal service industry research papers, interviewed lawyers and wrote press releases about the interviews. Also, I edited the client's job description. At Bluefocus Communication Group, I mainly wrote press releases, designed a product launch event, participated in the advertisement design pross, contacted with media and so on ...
