Men's soccer blazes through the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament, keeping their unbeaten streak alive

For the second consecutive season, the Dickinson men's soccer team—still undefeated at 15-0-7—has advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division III Tournament after a dominant opening weekend at Miller Memorial Field.

The Red Devils opened the postseason with a commanding 5-0 victory over North Carolina Wesleyan in Saturday's first round. Forward Saul Iwowo '26 (international business & management) delivered a clinical hat trick, scoring in the 13th, 50th and 68th minutes to set the tone. Second-half strikes from Darian Crim ’28 (biology) and Jackson Wolf ’26 (biochemistry & molecular biology) completed the rout, underscoring the team's depth and attacking firepower.

Twenty-four hours later, Dickinson faced a tougher test in the second round against Denison University. Goals from Iwowo and Ethan Jarden ’26 (political science)—one in each half—provided just enough offense, while goalkeeper Nick Potter '26 (international business & management) turned in a clutch performance to preserve a 2-0 shutout.

The victory marks the program's second straight trip to the round of 16 and keeps the Red Devils' remarkable unbeaten streak alive. Now, fresh off their first Centennial Conference title since 2011, the team shift its focus to Lynchburg, Virginia, where they’ll face host University of Lynchburg next weekend in the sectional round.
