Alumni Weekend Kicks Off Friday With Record Registrations!

Alumni Weekend

The Dickinson community gears up for annual three-day celebration

It’s that time of year, when Dickinsonians from around the globe gather for Alumni Weekend!

As spring turns into summer, the air is already abuzz with nostalgia, as the community anticipates campus coming alive June 9-11 with laughter and shared stories as old friends reunite, memories are relived and the bonds of friendship are rekindled.

This year, more than 1,500 attendees will fill campus, a new record! (Registration is officially closed. Walk-ins will be accepted, but advance notice is appreciated.) To give the alumni community a glimpse of what's to come for the college, President John E. Jones III ’77, P’11, will host a Zoom call on Wednesday, June 7, at noon EDT. To attended (if you haven't already registered), email alumni@dickinson.edu.

Perennial Alumni Weekend favorites such as the Welcome Back Reception, the annual Gettysburg battlefield bus tour, the Alumni Awards ceremony and the Celebration Dinner will keep everyone busy. And special events will punctuate each day’s festivities, including the international business & management 25th anniversary private wine tasting, Professor of Theatre Todd Wronski’s Farewell Tour event, the Alumni Council 100th Anniversary Celebration Brunch, the 5k Fun Run/Walk, the McAndrews Fund for Athletics 25th annual golf outing and a farm-to-table lunch at the College Farm.

So dust off those old yearbooks, don your red and white and get ready to walk down memory lane!
