Nicolas Serna Londono ’25 is a member of Dickinson’s men’s squash team, and in 2021, he earned two silver medals in the Pan-American Games. Below, he discusses his First-Year Seminar, why he chose Dickinson and what he appreciates most about being an international business & management major.
Hometown:
Bogota, Colombia.
Major:
International business & management.
Best thing about my Dickinson experience:
The squash team.
Best thing about my major:
It develops students’ leadership skills.
On choosing Dickinson:
It’s a great school academically, and it’s close to Philadelphia, which is a main city.
Favorite place on campus:
The squash courts.
Favorite class/learning experience so far:
My First-Year Seminar. It was about behavioral economics. I liked it because we learned about different cognitive biases that people have when making decisions.
If I could have dinner with anyone, living or dead, it would be …
… Messi.
Proudest accomplishment so far:
Two silver medals in the Pan-American Games under 23 Cali, Colombia 2021, and I am a current professional squash player.
Most important thing I’ve learned so far:
To trust the process.
