Was That a Question?

by Maureen Moroz '19

Becky Deihl, the Dickinson Department of Art & Art History’s post-baccalaureate artist-in-residence for 2018-19, will exhibit her fantasylike multimedia works, which explore common themes through unexpected approaches. The exhibition, “Was That a Question?,” will run from March 4-30 in the Goodyear Gallery, with a reception on Wednesday, March 20, from 5:30-7 p.m. in the gallery. Deihl will deliver an artist’s talk at 6 p.m.

Dickinson’s post-baccalaureate art & art history residency is a yearlong opportunity for new alumni to prepare for graduate school and build a portfolio in their own studio in Goodyear while receiving a stipend for supplies. The post-baccalaureate resident can also audit classes in the department and serves in a teacher-assistant-type role, mentoring seniors.

Goodyear Gallery hours: Tuesday-Friday, 3-5 p.m.; Saturday 2-5 p.m.
