Dickinson Fund Scholarships

Named Dickinson Fund Scholarships provide annual scholarship support to deserving students.

Though not a permanent source of funding, your Dickinson Fund Scholarship invests in today’s students (and tomorrow’s leaders) and allows the college to relieve general operating funds, as intended, in order to support the broader educational experience of our students.

Your minimum gift commitment of $25,000 ($5,000 annually for five years) establishes your named Dickinson Fund Scholarship.

Scholarship Selection and Award Process: First preference is given to sophomore, junior and senior students with demonstrated financial need who have done well academically, as demonstrated by their current grade point average and meaningful campus engagement. Scholarships established during the current academic year will be awarded in the fall of the following academic year.

Naming Your Annual Scholarship: Naming your scholarship offers an opportunity to join Dickinson’s longstanding philanthropic story and serves as an example to current students of the caring community of alumni, parents and friends who support them and the college. Scholarships may be named after you, the establisher; in memory or in honor of another individual; or for a business or organization.

Establish Your Scholarship Today! Please contact Elizabeth Meikrantz at 800-543-3809 or giving@dickinson.edu

Thank You! As a Dickinson Fund Scholarship donor, you will be recognized as a Philanthropist-level member of the John Dickinson Society, Dickinson’s premier donor group. You will be invited to attend the Board of Trustee’s scholarship luncheon where you will meet students who are benefitting from scholarship support.
