A Return Home is a stark and intimate story of displacement and resilience. It features journalist Nataliia Ruda, from Ukraine's Donbas region, who lost her home and village to Russia's invasion.
To tell the story of Ukrainians fleeing far from their homeland, Ruda traveled to Ireland in search of fellow asylum seekers and refugees, each carrying their own story of loss and survival. Collaborators Andy Bale (lead photographer), Jon Cox (director) and Jennifer Blyth (live soundtrack) present a live performance and film screening sponsored by the War Peace Justice project. Each screening will be followed by discussion with opportunity for conversation with the artists.
