Humanities majors develop critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills that are valuable across a wide range of careers.
This is panel, including John Costango, Brianne Giffin, Katrina Jurgill Briddell, and Xander Becket brings together professionals who studied humanities disciplines—such as history, philosophy, literature, and the arts—to share how they leveraged their degrees into fulfilling careers. Panelists will discuss their career trajectories, the transferable skills that helped them succeed, and advice for students exploring professional opportunities beyond traditional paths. Attendees will gain insights into industries like education, law, public service, media, business, and more, along with strategies for navigating the job market as a humanities graduate.
