Girls Who Code at Dickinson College

Two friends at Dickinson promised each other they would stick with the computer science major, no matter how tough things got. We’ll hear how they expanded their commitment to support more women in tech by bringing Girls Who Code to campus.

Puzzler: “Oh, the Places She’ll Go!”

Professor Jeff Forrester shares the new puzzler: “Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, Donatello, is that where we start? Right idea, wrong place, wrong time … think Harlem and the 1920s instead. Think Thoughtless Thinks by a Thinkless Thaughter, which, of course, sounds a little Seussian but this is serious business. A trailblazer, this one, a breaker of barriers, recognized with the golden key of scholarship. We are proud she once wore the Red and White. Then off to the salons. A teacher, an activist, a poet, her name lives on at the college, guiding students moral, ethical and intellectual development. If you haven’t figured it out just yet, find the nearest flag and give a solemn and thoughtful salute.”

Listen to the new question at the 2:15 mark.
