Dickinson recently kicked off All Devils Rise, a monthlong celebration of Dickinson athletics and the McAndrews Fund for Athletics. Through this effort, the college will highlight its Red Devils—past and present—and show how gifts to the McAndrews Fund have impacted Dickinson.
“I hope you’ll join us in celebrating, supporting and elevating our student-athletes,” said interim President John E. Jones III '77, P'11, in a video message to the community. “Your continued support of the McAndrews Fund allows our students to thrive. It allows our teams, our coaches to excel. And when one player, one coach, one team rises, all devils rise.”
The initiative also aims to raise additional funds for the McAndrews Fund, which fuels the student-athlete experience at Dickinson. Already this fiscal year, through 250 donors the college has raised $255,000 for the McAndrews Fund. With All Devils Rise, Dickinson is looking for 250 new donors to raise another $145,000 and push that McAndrews Fund total to $400,00 by the end of February.
