Touching on a wide swath of topic Judy Faulkner '65 sat down for a lengthy interview earlier this year as part of her being honored with Dickinson's 2025 President's Award.

Shot in June during Alumni Weekend, the videos highlight Faulkner's journey from a Dickinson math major to a trailblazing medical technology visionary, offering insights into her leadership, philanthropy and transformative impact on healthcare.

This video captures her approach and the vision that led to Epic becoming the leading global medical-record software company, managing records for over 280 million U.S. patients.

This clip highlights her approach to leadership and continued success in the software industry, traits that led to her being recognized by Forbes as one of the most powerful women in healthcare.
  • Roots & Wings: This video explores the origin and trajectory of Faulkner’s philanthropic efforts through the Roots & Wings Foundation, which supports low-income children and families with healthcare, education and shelter. “We need to give roots so you're strong and wings so you could fly," she says of the name.
