Why/how I chose Dickinson:
The college's unique partnership with my previous college (Montgomery College), combined with its location in Carlisle, vibrant community, strong study-abroad programs and international focus made it the most attractive choice for me.
Favorite class/learning experience:
Spanish 202 has helped me express myself, share ideas and connect with international students who speak Spanish. .
Best thing about my Dickinson experience so far:
My network of international students continually broadens my global perspective and deepens my cultural understanding. Through our shared experiences, I gain insight into more than 10 different countries and the unique beauty each one offers every single day.
Favorite professor:
Instructor of Spanish & Portuguese Julie Lesman’s enthusiasm and consistency turn a classroom credit into a motivation to grow and progress in the understanding of a foreign language.
Post-Dickinson plans:
I plan to start my career in international development and potentially land in places like IDA, World Bank or IDB.
