Dickinson to Celebrate John M. Paz '78 Alumni & Family Center Grand Opening

The Paz Center

Renovation work on the Paz Center was completed in fall 2023. The grand opening will be held May 3, 2024.

Ribbon Cutting to Be Held 3:30 - 5 p.m. Friday, May 3

The Dickinson community is invited to celebrate the grand opening of the John M. Paz '78 Alumni & Family Center Friday, May 3, at 3:30 p.m. The event includes a ribbon-cutting and reception followed by an open house from 4 to 5 p.m. to give attendees the opportunity to learn more about the center. (The Paz Center is located on the corner of High and West streets at the former Historic President’s House, and the event will begin outside the main entrance.)

Friday will mark the official opening of this donor-funded facility that provides a permanent, welcoming space for alumni and parents to visit campus and interact with students, faculty and college administrators. The center is opening its doors after a roughly yearlong renovation of the Historic President’s House to convert the building into an alumni and family center that brings together Dickinson’s past, present and future.

The new center was made possible by gifts from John Paz '78, who will be honored during the event, as well as nearly 1,000 other alumni and families inspired by his leadership gift.
