Dickinson has long been a leader in sustainability, and the world has long been taking note. Earning a Gold Rating and the #1 ranking in the AASHE Campus Sustainability Index in 2022, the college also achieved carbon neutrality in 2020, becoming one of the first in Pennsylvania and a leader in the nation.
Dickinson's commitment to sustainability is evident in its curriculum, operations, planning, innovation, administration and engagement, leading to continual recognition by the Princeton Review, which ranked Dickinson #5 in its Top 50 Green Colleges (2024), as well as outlets like Sierra magazine and Money.
