Beginning on Monday, Feb. 7, and continuing through Thursday, Feb. 10, Internship Search Week offers a slate of workshops and programs that help students prepare for internships, refine application documents, learn about interviewing for internships and more.

Students can log in to Handshake to access Zoom links for four short virtual programs:

  • Resumes & Cover Letters: Tuesday, Feb. 8, noon
  • Internship Search & Networking: Tuesday, Feb. 8, 7 p.m.
  • Summer Internship Grant Q&A: Wednesday, Feb. 9, 3 p.m.

The week concludes with a five-hour, in-person event in the HUB Social Hall:

Internship Search Week is presented by the career experts in Dickinson’s Advising, Internships & Career Center, who host a variety of career-exploration and internship- and job-search events throughout the academic year.

These include weekly career chats with experienced alumni, networking opportunities, information sessions on job-shadowing, internship grants, graduate linkage programs and industry-specific advice. Students may also consult individually with advisors and career-center staff. Best of all, informational resources and advice remain available long after graduation, as the Advising, Internships & Career Center makes career and career-change information and advice available to alumni throughout their professional lives.
