Whether you’re making turkey for the first time this year, mixing it up with a few new recipes or just want to kick back and enjoy watching the master chefs show you how it’s done, we’ve got the perfect Thanksgiving 2020 video for you.

Dickinson’s Dining Services staff created a cooking video on how to create a traditional Thanksgiving feast from scratch. Filmed and edited by Retail Operations Manager Stephanie Doulgeris, the half-hour video goes step by step as Executive Chef Richie Rice, Catering Chef Ashley Telep and Head Chef Kay Yeruski prep and roast the turkey, make pan gravy, prepare baked corn, sage stuffing and sweet-potato casserole and bake up a delectable pumpkin pie.

The video was created by Dining Services for Dickinson's student-run MOB. The chef-prepared feast was later served up in to-go containers to the small community of on-campus staff and students.

It's not the same experience as the traditional campuswide Thanksgiving meal that brings Dickinsonians together in the Dining Hall. But as Rice notes, we’re thankful to be able to share a taste of that tradition here.

"I hope the tips we show you can help you make a festive Thanksgiving dinner [at home]," the head chef said.
