Dickinson in South America
video by Joe O'Neill
The Dickinson in South America program offers students the unique opportunity to live and study in two countries (Ecuador and Argentina) during one semester or the full academic year. There, students explore a wide range of areas of study, from anthropology, archaeology and art & art history to economics, environmental studies and law & policy.
“I was able to immerse myself in not just one culture but actually in two,” says Alana Richards ’20 (sociology, Spanish), who had a bilingual winery internship in Mendoza, Argentina, while abroad for a full year. “I’m super-fortunate that Dickinson has these programs.”
