Helping Red Devils go global

According to the NCAA, less than 40 percent of Division III student-athletes study abroad, but at Dickinson, 60 percent do. How is that possible, you ask?

Dickinson encourages all students to go abroad, and thanks to the support they receive from coaches and professors, student-athletes here can more easily fit study-abroad into their busy schedules than at other colleges and universities. Hear from Jackie Banker '20 (economics) and Marcus Witherspoon '20 (international business & management) in the video above about their experiences studying abroad as student-athletes.

"I definitely wanted to play volleyball at a collegiate level, but I also wanted to have the opportunity to study abroad, and Dickinson was really the only school that let me have both of those opportunities," says Banker.
