Dickinson College President Margee Ensign writes in a recent Washington Post op-ed about the importance of civic engagement and how Dickinson and other colleges and universities are contributing "in many useful, if not always highly visible, ways." Ensign calls on colleges and universities to be "more purposeful" in demonstrating their value to the communities they serve.
