Course Request and Schedule Adjustment

At the end of your new student advising call, your advisor will give you an “Alternate PIN,” the code you will need to enter in order to actually request your courses using Dickinson’s online Banner system. It’s extremely important that you actually submit your requests, so please be sure to mark your calendar and keep a record of your Alternate PIN in safe place! 

The course request system will open at 9:00 am EDT on Wednesday, July 13. This is a request process, not a registration process, and is therefore not 'first come, first served.' The system will remain open for course requests until 4:00 pm EDT, Wednesday, July 20, at which point it will close for course request processing. 

On Wednesday, August 8 at 8:00 am EDT, the system will open once again for schedule adjustment.  (It is important to note that the schedule adjustment process is 'first come, first served,’ so you’ll want to submit your changes as soon as you can.  Additionally, any changes you make to your schedule occur immediately, so you shouldn’t drop a course by removing it from your schedule unless you’re sure about your decision.

Phones will be staffed during new student advising (8:30 am-4:30 pm EDT July 9-15), course request period and then also during schedule adjustment.
