Italian Beyond the Classroom

ITALIAN FILM SERIES MOVIE NIGHTS

The Italian Film Series brings students, faculty, and members of the Dickinson community together to explore Italy through cinema. Screenings range from classics of Italian cinema to contemporary films and may be organized around a particular director, genre, historical period, or cultural theme. Past series have introduced audiences to different moments in Italian film history while opening conversations about Italian society, politics, history, identity, and culture. Films are open to the Dickinson community, and no knowledge of Italian is required.

All screenings have English subtitles.

Film screenings mostly take place in Althouse 106, but not all of them (pay attention to times and locations). 

Italian snacks will be served!
