Global Faculty

The Edward & Olga Piszek Fund for Polish Studies

The Edward & Olga Piszek Fund for Polish Studies was established in 2005 by Helen and Erik Nelson P'05 to continue the cultural, educational, and humanitarian legacy of Edward Piszek (1916–2004), an entrepreneur and philanthropist of Polish descent. As a highlight of this gift, Dickinson maintains a longstanding collaboration with the Institute for American Studies and Polish Diaspora at Jagiellonian University (Krakow, Poland), where MA students can apply for a semester-long fellowship to conduct research and benefit from our on-campus scholarly community.
