Language Teacher Training I

September 5, 2019

Join Professor of Spanish Erian Díaz for two language teaching trainings designed to prepare new language teachers.

Professor Díaz, who specializes in the science of language acquisition, will offer key insights into how language learning works and tried and true tricks of the trade.  This training is ideal for Dickinson individuals who will be teaching learners of any language, such as OSAs, Museum Language Assistants and TAs.  Participants will also meet fellow language teachers from across campus and develop a support network for troubleshooting language teaching challenges.

Please note: While sessions are designed to build upon one another, providing scaffolded concepts and strategies, students may attend only one session if they are unable to attend both.

Free, including pizza lunch.  Please pre-register so we can prepare materials and order food appropriately.
