Multicultural Seder 2019

February 6, 2019

Thirteenth-annual Multicultural Seder!

Join the Asbell Center for Jewish life in partnership with Center for Service, Spirituality and Social Justice, Hillel, Popel Shaw Center for Race & Ethinicity, Center for Sustainability Education, and many other departments on campus for the thirteenth-annual Multicultural Seder! We are focusing on a Tu B'Shvat seder, which celebrates the New Year of the Trees.

Our campus community will come together for the Multicultural Seder to talk about “Viewing the Environment through the Lens of Poverty and Racism” while sharing a vegetarian meal together. We will enjoy music from the Afro-Semitic Experience and hear readings from various groups on campus.

The Multicultural Seder will be on Wednesday, February 6 at 5 p.m. in the Social Hall. If you have any questions, please email.

Because this is a large event, we need you to RSVP by Thursday, January 24. Seats are limited!
