Join fellow Dickinson students in helping out a local farm. Spend an afternoon pitching in, learning from farmer Michelle Elston, and hanging out with other students.

What is a Crop Mob anyway? A Crop Mob is a group of volunteers that come together to help out a local farmer in need. This could mean helping the farmer bulk harvest, plant, weed, do repair work, put up a structure, or a variety of other tasks. We at the Dickinson Farm are calling on you to help us organize our very own Crop Mob! Our next volunteer opportunity will be 4/6 with Michelle Elston of Roots Cut Flower Farm. Come learn from this inspiring female farmer and get your hands dirty in the fields! Shuttles will leave from the DPS/CSE patio promptly at 1 p.m. Participants can expect to help out with chores from 1:30-4 p.m. before enjoying a snack with fellow volunteers and departing Roots at 4:30 p.m. Spaces are limited so register today.
