The Writing Program invites First-Year Seminar students to submit their best essays to the awards competition. Winners Jack Buck and Jessica Cao discuss their writing process.

In the fall, the Writing Program invites First-Year Seminar students to submit their best essays to the awards competition. The winners receive a certificate and a monetary award at a special reception sponsored by the Waidner-Spahr Library. This year's winners are Jack Buck, “The Decline of the Isle Royale Wolf: An Analysis of the Implications of Reintroduction” and Han Hong (Jessica) Cao, “Restructuring the America Education System: Milton Friedman and Herbert Gintis on School Choice.”
