Join Campus Life and CSE for a trail clean up event to remove litter from Dickinson’s running and walking trail located just beyond D-Park.
We are holding this event on the weekend before Earth Day (April 22nd) so that it does not conflict with classes.
Where: Meeting at CSE Office and then going to Dickinson Park Trail (for directions enter “Carlisle Pumptrack” into GPS)
Who: This event will be open to students and community members!
Event Information:
- Participants should wear closed toed shoes that are good for walking, high visibility clothing, and bring a water bottle. High visibility vests will be provided for safety along the sections of trail that are close to the road. CSE will also be providing gloves and recycling/trash bags for folks to use.
- We will meet at the CSE Office located inside Kaufman Hall at 10am to collect materials before we head over to the trails.
- There will be a van to bring participants to and from the fields, but you are also welcome to bike over using your own bike or by renting a Red Bike from DPS.
- All folks should plan to meet back at the drop off location by 12pm where they can catch the van or bike/walk back to campus.
