In times of fear, grief, and anger, how do we make space for joy? How can we engage in solidarity while also honoring our need for care, pleasure, and connection?
Join us for a supportive gathering to read and reflect on themes from a new chapter in The Bloomsbury Handbook of Care Ethics, exploring queer care and pleasure activism. Together, we’ll discuss what it means to experience joy as an act of resistance, and how care can be a powerful tool in the work of justice and solidarity.
This informal event is open to all who are seeking space for meaningful conversation, reflection, and community care. No prior reading required, but if you're curious, the chapter will be shared in advance.
Light refreshments provided. All are welcome.
