Calling all bee buddies! On Tuesday, October 8, The Hive will be holding a double-feature event.
From 2-3:00 pm, join us in the Kaufman Pollinator Garden for a garden workday. All equipment will be provided, and any help is appreciated! Direction will be given, so if you are a first-time gardener, this is the event for you. Feel free to come and go as you can and bring a friend.
Following the gardening session, Master Beekeeper Tiffany Ayres will be giving an interactive talk about all things honey. Join us from 3:15-4 pm in Kaufman 178 to learn everything you want to know about honey storage, biological production, harvesting and manufacturing. Bring your questions and a curious mind (and maybe a friend)!
You are welcome to attend one or both of these events, and there is no need to stay the whole time. The time in the garden can be counted to organizational service hours!
